KC & Agnes

Spirals, curves, unconventional formations. Table layouts have become such a huge part of the narrative we want to create these days, that it's truly hard to ignore how much weight they hold in shaping feeling, guiding movement and the overall storytelling.

It has fundamentally changed the way we design. And we have no doubt that it will continue to push our imagination and creativity as we go.

We thought of meadow rues on hills, high-low terrains, and wanted to capture that on a centerpiece that felt almost landscape-like. A head table that “flowed” into two circular elevated planes, subtly anchoring the space, drawing the eye towards the center.

The platform carpet we hand-pleated into soft foldings that echoed the drapery on their photo wall. A thread of continuity that tied the outer lounge and the inner ballroom.

A corner of the room where the world dimmed for KC and Agnes as they exchanged their vows. It was also the designated podium, extended stage for the night.

We wanted to express that openness you feel walking through a field of wildflowers. Thousands of tiny, colourful blooms, with no hard boundaries. Just airy, low-lying expansiveness. A kind of floral freedom, where you’re surrounded, but never crowded.

Blooms that didn’t just sit, they spilled and tumbled. Meant to feel alive, sprouting from crevices and growing down the side of hills. Gently cascading from the table’s edge to the ground.

Rich emerald green drapery with its flowy velvet texture, set the perfect vintage mood for the lounge area. Canvas portraits of KC and Agnes softly framed by its folds. Retro candelabra lampstands plus the overhead chandelier really cemented that posh look! While the floral arch, crafted entirely from small delicate blooms, brought a sense of lushness. A scene born from a living tapestry of color and romance.
