“…described as an arch-like opening made by two great trees leaning together that were old, ivy-strangled, hung with lichen, and bearing but a few blackened leaves.”

We wrapped Kylie and James in a quiet enchantment. Drapings of fern and trailing amaranthus spilled like elven silk, with lush hydrangeas and misty sprigs reminiscent of the twilight woodlands of Middle-earth. We softened the ground in moss and flickering candlelight, rooting the scene in warm earthy magic. Soft clouds of baby’s breath and old-world lamps lined the aisle like a path through the hidden valleys of Rivendell, where elven songs linger in soft light and natural beauty. A Lord of the Rings-inspired romance, styled to feel as though the ancient forests of middle earth had bloomed within these walls.

The day's program designed like an Elven scroll, inviting loved ones to bear witness to this quest-of-a-lifetime that they're about to embark on. A love as steadfast as Aragorn’s heart, as timeless as Arwen’s grace. From their vows to a ceremonial space nestled in the ancient forest, we felt the magic of middle-earth come alive through James and Kylie.

We wove a living wall of foliage, veiling the hall in timeless green. Even the seating chart felt touched by myth: an antique gold frame nestled in a cradle of fresh pasture, bearing the words “no admittance except on wedding business” in whimsical, vine-laced Elvish script. Each letter curling like tendrils of ivy, as if grown rather than written. A feast set deep within the ancient woodland realms, for Kylie and James.

We rarely get the chance to dive into themed designs quite like this. This one holds a special place.
